Avery has been painting for 20 years. Avery uses traditional layering
techniques (gesso, tempera powder and with the highest quality oil paint
and brushes) with modern subjects. Drawing inspiration from artists such
as Egon Schiele, Maurizio Bonfanti and local artists such as Ellis
Tertoolen.

Avery’s primary works are portraitures of oil, watercolor or drawings
and commissioned fantasy works.

For the 2HSV auction Avery is offering a portrait session for you or
someone you love. The process starts with a conversation, how would you
like to be portrayed, then a photo session at your house, followed by
painting. The painting part takes the longest, layers upon layers to
create the perfect balance. There will be another meeting moment at
Avery’s atelier to invite the family to be involved in the process.
Finally, a painting of your loved one, oil on canvas 20x20cm. Frame not
included.
